Musician Sheryl Crow plans to launch an eco-friendly jeans and clothing line called Bootheel Trading Co.
Bootheel Trading Co., launched with the help of clothing company Western Glove Works will offer clothes made from fair trade cotton and denim. The company will focus on affordable, eco-friendly jeans and tops.
Sheryl Crow is known for her eco-friendly life style and for donating bags upon bags of clothing to local secondhand stores. She is said to use eco-friendly diapers on her son.
Jeans and tops from Bootheel Trading Co. will be available in stores this fall. Initial prices will be lower than $62 for jeans and lower than $36 for tops.
