KARACHI: PML (N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif said that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is an obstacle in establishing the Muttehadda Muslim League.
He said that no formal negotiation has been made with the Pakistan Peoplee’s Party (PPP) on seat adjustment.
The PML (N) leader, Mian Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Sunday afternoon through a PIA flight and he was warmly welcomed by the PML leaders.
He went from the airport to the Mazar-e-Quaid-i-Azam and offered fateha.
Addressing the party workers gathered at the Mazar-e-Quaid, Mian Nawaz Sharif said that like Quaid-i-Azam he wants to see the judiciary free and authorized and he would get the people’s rights restored.
Later, Nawaz Sharif went to the residence of former chief justice Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui in Defence and during the meeting with him he paid him tributes on his services for the superiority of the constitution and the law.
On this occasion, Nawaz Sharif said that plans are being made for rigging in the elections in Sindh and Punjab.
He termed the rigging a renegade and said that the people would fully oppose these riggings.
Afterwards, he went to the residence of the senior judge of the Sindh High Court, Sarmad Jalal Usmani where he met with eight former judges of the Sindh High Court who did not take oath under the PCO.
Talking on this occasion, Nawaz Sharif said that complete restoration of the constitution is his demand and restoration of the judiciary is a part of his manifesto.
The PML leader also went to the residence of former justice Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim and paid tribute to him during the meeting with him.
