State Instiute of Education, Jammu conducted six days orientation programme on Teaching of Urdu at Secondary Level at Govt. Higher Secondary School (Girls), Shastri Nagar. Earlier this week programme was inaugurated on 25th July by Principal of the School, Gurcharan Singh in presence of Pardeep Kumar Padha, Field Advisor, Language wing and Jagdish Sharma, Senior Lecturer, English of SIE.
Tahira Parveen, Course Co-ordinator and Anil Kumar R.O. from State Institute of Education organised this orientation programme.
In a press note issued here, Tahira Parveen, Course Co-ordinator said that during this week long programme was aatended by a total of 28 Masters and Teachers drawn from whole Jammu district in which the trainers have laid special emphasis on the changes in methodology of teaching of urdu including prose and poetry. It was further said that more than twenty five lectures were delivered by the distinguished personalities of Urdu like Prof. Qudoos Javed, Former Head, Department of Urdu, Kashmir University, G.M.Mughal, Senior Leacturer, DIET Samba and Sarsa Ram, Senior Lecturer, HSS, Parmandal. The trainers have dealt in detail the various aspects of Urdu language and its teaching and the important topics taught during this orientation programme included Jammu Kashmir mein Urdu ki Soorat e haal, Urdu grammer keh quaid, nazam ka tarkeek-e- tadrees, Mubtadyoun ko urdu Padhana sekhana, Imla committee ki safarshaat and Zaid Az Nasabi Masroofyat etc.
This programme was concluded with the validcitory session held here today which was chaired by Pardeep Kumar Padha, Field Advisor, Language Wing, SIE. In this validictory session, Jagdish Sharma, Qudoos Javed and GM Mughal also spoke from faculty side and Ved Paul, Dev Raj, Kalsoom Akhter, Nahid Masood and Mohd. Ayub spoke from participants side and gave their feed back about the programme. Certifcates were also distributed among the participants.
