Senior R.S.S. leader and the member of National working committee Indresh Kumar described the Sindu Darshan as Symbol of cultural nationalism and preservation of heridity. He was speaking in a meeting of Himalaya Parivar called for the successful conduct of Sindu Darshan Yatra in the month of June 2009.
The meeting finalized the executive committee to monitor and conduct the yatra in the month of June 2009. Mayor of Jammu Municipel corporation Sh. Kavinder Gupta was made the President of the Sindu Darshan Yatra Samiti. Later Sh. Indresh Ji asked the committee members to interact with the society to give impetous to these yatra. He said the society needs to be educated about the concept and purpose of these yatras, so that the intent is fulfilled. Mr. Indresh also asked the executive committee of Himalaya Parivar to gear up to make success the all India convention on 11-12 April 2009.
