Sri Lankan Authorities Captured Six Foreigners including three Australians among In Displaced Persons (IDP’S)in Welfare Camps of Northern Sri Lanka yesterday.Government announced that the Three Australians captured are facing more than one year detention and there will be no special treetment or early release on them.
Other foreign Nationals captured including One British,One Danish and a Norwegian.
Sri Lankan Authorities are Screening these Foreigners to find out Whether they are linked with LTTE.Meanwhile the Australian Embassy in Colombo says that they will try to gain counselar Access to the Three Australians believed to be Dual Australian/Sri Lankan Nationals.
