Jammu, February 18, (Scoop News)-Six candidates of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party today filed their nomination papers before the Secretary Legislative Assembly (Returning Officer) for the Legislative Council elections.
Accompanied by legislators and senior party functionaries the PDP candidates filed the nomination papers for six out of eleven seats to the Upper House for which the notification was issued by the ECI.
Those who filed the nomination are Surinder Choudhary and Firdous Tak for Jammu seats, Anayat Ali for reserved seat of Kargil and Javed Ahmed Mirchal, Saif-ud-Din Bhat and Yasir Reshi for Kashmir province seats.
Yashpal Sharma, party General secretary & MLC, Abdul Rehman Veeri, MLA-elect; Syed Basharat Bukhari, MLA Elect; Abdul Haq Khan, MLA-elect; Javaid Mustafa Mir, MLA elect, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, MLA elect; Mohd Khalil Band, MLA elect; Noor Mohd Sheikh MLA elect; Mohd Yousuf Bhat, MLA elect; Naeem Akhtar, Chief Spokesperson and MLC, senior party leaders Rafi Mir, Peerzada Mansoor; Ab Rahim Rather, MLA elect; Javid Hussain Beigh, MLA elect; Yawar Dilawar Mir, MLA elect; Adv Aijaz Mir, MLA elect; senior leader Ved Mahajan ; Nisar Ahmad Mandoo; Ali Mohd Wani and other prominent party leader, workers and supporters accompanied the candidates.
