In a study undertaken on the habit of taking breakfast and its effects on the human body, Nutritionists from the Minnesota University, in the US, have found out, that those who are taking their regular breakfasts are sprightly and are lesser prone to become obese (the study was done on 2,200 youngsters over a period of five years).
For the last twenty years twice the number of children, and thrice the number of elders have become obese. In the study undertaken at the Minnesota University, it is revealed that those people who take their regular morning tiffin are active throughtout the day and are healthy.Whereas, the people who skip their morning meal or tiffin, remain dull throughout the day and develop various health problems.
According to the study about 12 % of children and 24 % of elders skip their morning intake of food which may, in the long run create problems like obesity and connected stomach problems. Therefore, it is always advisable and should be cultivated as a habit that one should never skip the morning intake of food.
