Seventeen children in Western Nepal have been learning to read and write inside a toilet due to the lack of proper space management, reports the Janadisha daily.
After the Room to Read provided about 3,000 books and other reading material to Saraswoti Primary School of a village in Myagdi district in Western Nepal, they made a classroom a library while they sent small children to toilet for learning.
Local guardians are not very happy over this since they are worried about the health of their children.
According to the report, the toilet in that school has been used as a classroom not because there is not space at all but because those who run school have not been able to manage it properly.
