A winter storm has come over the city of New Orleans and several neighboring parishes. A prior winter advisory is no longer in effect.
According to NOAA gov., the winter storm is caused by a strong low pressure system that has brought rain, snow and sleet.The snowstorm will bring wintry conditions to the area all the day long, making the travel conditions become difficult in the east central Louisiana, southest Louisiana and coastal Mississippi.
Although the winter storm should dissipate in short time, the forecasters have made predictions regarding the temperatures that will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s during the weekend.
