.Jammu, September 9 (Scoop News) – PANUN KASHMIR (PK) today said that some human rights groups and pseudo intellectuals who are raising the bogey of human rights violations in Kashmir should visit Pakistan occupied parts of Jammu and Kashmir to awaken themselves.
Addressing a press confrence in Jammu, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, PANUN KASHMIR said that on the one hand Pakistan has invited ten thousand Chinese army to subjugate the rebellious Shia community and on the other is attacking their religious processions and killing them mercilessly. The plight and sufferings of Hindu minorities of Jammu and Kashmir have never been the cause of concern for these so-called human rights groups over the last twenty years. We condemn their motivated approach and view it as a design to further the secessionist agenda in Kashmir .
Ashwani Kumar along with Prof. M.L.Raina, Chairman, Political Affairs Committee,Virender Raina, National Spokesperson-PK in a press conference also announced full support and participation in the Balidan Divas programme and demonstration organized by the Joint Forum of Kashmiri Pandit organisations on September 14 at Jammu.
He said that the global campaign regarding Kashmir organized by various KP organisations, going on at this point of time, has caught the attention of the people.
Ashwani said, it is a serious concern over the announcements made by various leaders in the Central and State governments in connection with the Kashmir situation. These statements have further complicated the already surcharged political atmosphere of the State. The statements which cause political speculation have potential to increase the already uncomfortable situation for the nationalist forces in the Jammu and Kashmir State.
The talks like political package and dilution of AFSPA and withdrawal of security forces are tantamount to succumbing to political blackmail. Controversial and confusing signals are deliberately put in place to discourage the forces which have made sacrifices to uphold the unity and integrity of India, Ashwani said..
He said It is a matter of serious concern that the government of India considering, and discussing the dangerous proposals of the separatist leader Geelani have emanated from various sources.
Ashwani made it clear that the people of this nation have not mandated any leader or political party to bargain over the issues of its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The issues of autonomy and the powers of any state government are clearly demarcated by the constitution and all issues related to this have been settled by the Constituent Assembly,. Even the Indian parliament has no authority, not to speak of a political party, to dilute the Indian sovereignty over any part of India including Jammu and Kashmir state.
