Sosoom Karim Abad football tournament concludes

CHITRAL: Foot tournament in Sosoom (Karim Abad Valley) upper Chitral concluded. A total of 40 football teams participated in the tournament. The final match was played between Kiyar-A team and Sosoom-A team. Sosoom-A team beat Kiyar-A team and won the tournament with 1 goal than zero.
A closing ceremony of the tournament was held under the chair of Naib Nazim Sultan Shah while MPA Saleem Khan was chief guest at the occasion. Addressing the closing ceremony of the tournament Sultan Shah said that the only playground of the valley is in worst condition and he demanded 3.5 million rupees from the government for the playground . He also said the roads of the valley are in very poor condition and often people go into Death Valley while traveling on these roads.
Chief guest MPA Saleem Khan while addressing on the occasion said that estimated cost of the road is Rs. 350 million while his share of fund from the government is Rs. 10-20 million but he announced Rs. 1.5 million for the playground and said that this playground would be joint playground of the area. He stressed the youth to participate in cultures shows and sports that they be secure from the curse of drugs addicting. He announced Rs. 15000 for the organizing committee while 10000 for both the teams. At the end of the ceremony he distributed trophies and prizes among the players.
Abdul Qadir was declared man of the tournament and Ibadullah man of the match from winner team.
