Sri Lankan Army completely defeat Tamil Tiger rebels in a few days

Srilanka: On the Sri Lanka’s national day president speech to the nation Mahinda Rajapaksa made the comments, that the Tamil Tiger rebels will be "completely defeated in a few days"

Sri Lanka’s president has said and asked people who fled the country to return.

 

A UN spokesman also told cluster bombs had hit the hospital in Puthukkudiyiruppu town in Mullaitivu district five times, 52 civilians had been killed in the fighting in the last 24 hours and the hospital nearly empty now. Yet now didn’t get clear idea about the responsible for this attack.

 

President Rajapaksa said,"Today we have been able to nearly destroy terror," and added "At this moment I urge all Sri Lankans from all communities who fled the country because of the war to return to their motherland."
