Sri Lankan Ground Forces today captured the North of the No War Zone called "Ampalawanpokkanai" Area as the strength of the LTTE is continuousley weaken .Forces yesterday crushed several LTTE ground assaults and rescued Twenty Two Bodies of the slained LTTE Cadres who were killed during the fighting according to the Defense Ministry.
