Sri Lankan President Accepted The Resignation Of General Fonseka

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha today accepted the Resignation Letter of the Chief Of the Defense Staff General Sarth Fonseka with Immediate effect the Presidential Secretariat has been Announced.

General Fonseka who was also the former Army Commander who led the Military Victory over the LTTE in last May was submitted his Resignation Letter seeking to resign from his post with the effect from 01st of December.
