Sri Lankan President Greets The Opposition Leader On His B’Day And For Re Election As Party Leader

President Mahinda Rajapaksha has today greets the Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinha today for his Birth day which falls today(24th) and for being re elected  as the Party Leader of Main Opposition the United National Party(UNP) again .

 Oppoasition Leader Wickramasinha was re elected as the UNP Leader yesterday without a contest after weeks long leadership battle he was having with Hambanthota MP and the son of former President Late R.Premadasa,Sajith Premadasa.MP Premadasa who quited from the Leadership Battle yetserday during the working committee meeting of the Party  has accepted the Deputy Leader Post of the UNP and as the Deputy Leader  to the Opposition Leader in Parliament.
