St Louis Missouri. The St Louis Rams announced on Sunday fourth year quarterback Sam Bradford, 26, will not be playing football this season due to a torn A C L in his left knee.
Bradford injured his left knee in the first quarter of the Rams third preseason game when Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Amonty Bryant player hit him. Bradford was able to walk off the gridiron without any help of the Rams trainers or teammates.
Since Bradford will not able to be the quarterback of the Rams in the 2014 regular football season, the Rams will likely go with former Detroit Lions quarterback Shaun Hill, 34, to lead the Rams this football season.
At least Hill will provide the Rams football team a better chance to win football games this season. Bradford is in his final year of his rookie contract he signed when he was drafted by the Rams in the 2010 National Football League out of the University of Oklahoma.
The Rams will have to make a decision whether to keep Bradford on the roster after he becomes a free agent at the end of the 2015 football season. The other option the Rams will make is to release Bradford so he can pursue playing football for another team in the National Football League.
The Rams won their first game of the 2014 preseason beating the Cleveland Browns 33-14 in a football game played at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
