Srinagar, February 05(Scoop News) – Star News , the leading news channel of India has announced STAR NEWS National B–School Awards and conferred “Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education” to Prof. Riyaz Punjabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir.
Announcing the award, Jonathan Peters, Founder, Stars of the Industry Group has said that the “Star News National B–School awards recognized institutions that are innovative, modern and industry related in their curriculum in Marketing, Advertising, Marketing Communication etc”. According to Peters the “awards are well researched and chosen by the independent jury and a panel of professionals who believe in nurturing Talent and in recognizing the best of the best”. Announcing the award, Jonathan Peters wrote to Prof. Punjabi that “I am pleased to share with you that the Jury has decided to honour you with the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education”. The award will be presented to Prof. Punjabi in Mumbai on 12th February, 2011.
