Steve Wright Charged In Murders Of Prostitutes In Suffolk

The five females were between 19 and 29 years of age. Steve Wright of Ipswich said during his trial that he had sex with four of the five women. He denied that he had anything to do with their murders. The bodies of the five women were found in a ten-day period back in December of 2006.

The victims were 19-year-old Tania Nicol, 25- year-old Gemma Adams, 24-year-old Anneli Alderton, 24-year-old Paula Clennell, and 29-year-old Annette Nicholls. In the pictures posted on BBC, the women looked fairly young and could be deemed to be attractive as well.

In the trial, it was explained that their bodies were discovered as their arms were stretched out in a crucifix pose as if they were crucified on the cross like Jesus Christ. The prosecution said that Wright killed all five women in an almost seven-week period.

Tania Nicol vanished in October of 2006. Two weeks later, Gemma Adams vanished next. The other three women followed afterwards.

Brian Adams, the father of Gemma Adams said: “I am very relieved and pleased for all of the families that this is now over and we can now start to get on with our lives.”

It would look as if a string of murders over one year old has been solved and a person found guilty of the crimes. But, Steve Wright still claims that he did not murder them.
