STORY’s Noble Initiative
STORY, Book Store has announced a grand initiative ‘Share A Story’ at its flagship store at Elgin Road which aims at encouraging donating books to underprivileged children. On the event, the renowned Tollywood actor Prosenjit Chatterjee was present with Master Arya Dasgupta, lead actors of the movie FORCE. Jayant Kriplani who is the famous theatre personality and veteran actor was also there to grace the event.
An initiative to reach out to deprived children
The noble initiative ‘Share a Story’ inspires children and also grownups of Kolkata to donate books for the children who are deprived of having books or reading. ‘Share a Story’ will be continued till November 22, 2014, with the distribution of books to city based NGO’s. Also to appreciate the efforts of all book donors STORY is providing certificates, gift coupons, discounts and gift vouchers for lucky draw winners, said Mr Sidharth Pansari, Chief STORYteller STORY & Managing Director, Primarc Group.
This initiative is also encouraging the city’s reading habits and literature admiration among children.
