I thought I would tell you the strange and rather unusual story of Major Philip j. Corso who, along with a non commissioned officer discovered “dead alien bodies” one night at Ft. Riley, Kansas in July 1947.
Yes, I did say “dead alien bodies.”
In his fascinating book, “The Day after Roswell”, Col. Philip J. Corso claims that while serving as a post duty officer at Fort Riley, Kansas, a shipment of strange artifacts arrived from Fort Bliss. Colonel Corso says he examined the shipment, which included what he thought were “dead extraterrestrial biological entities (EBE’s) preserved in a thick light-blue liquid.”
In a TV news interview, confirming that fact, Col. Corso elaborates on what exactly he saw that fateful summer night in 1947 at Ft. Riley.
“They were about 6 ft long 3 ft wide and they were covered with tarps”, he said. “So when I went in, I went in with the sergeant and he picked up one corner of the tarp, and here is this body floating in this liquid. A complete body…” (see video: Colonel Philip J. Corso interview – Witness to Roswell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7knXCWSSf2U andhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=NlSb5o2VY7k&NR=1
According to Col. Corso, Ft. Riley was just a temporary station for the unusual shipment, which was destined for what is now called Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
I suppose it would be easy to just discount what Col. Corso said about finding dead alien bodies at Ft. Riley, after all, it does sound unbelievable…but then again “what if he is telling the truth?”
After all here we have a man who later served as a battalion commander in charge of nuclear missles in Europe and then went on to serve as chief, of the Foreign Technology Desk at the Pentagon, under Major General Aurthur Trudeau.
It certainly makes you wonder, that for sure.
