Students of S.B.B.U Chitral Campus facing transportation Problems
CHITRAL: Shaheed Banazir Bhutto University Shiringall has established its campus in Chitral with loud claims and attractive slogans. But the university failed to facilitate its student, particular girls, in availing transportation. The female students coming from the surrounding areas of Chitral town did not have access to adequate transportation facility and they have to manage their own on public service vehicles. While talking to this scribe the students of post-graduate level said that time and again they have requested university administrator for arrangement of transport but we have been told that as the Chitral campus was newly established hence it could not arrange any transport facility. The girls students added that they were facing lot of problems while waiting for local taxi vehicles to come to campus and go back to our homes. They have demanded the provincial governor KP, who is also the Chancellor of this institute to provide at least two buses for the students of this national institute.
It is pertinent to mention that while the university administrator excuse on the basis that this was newly established campus and could not provide such facility but another institute, AWK University Chitral campus has provided few buses for its students and staff as well. Both the campuses were established almost the same year.
