Jammu, October 20 (Scoop News) –Former Union minister and Janta Party president Dr.Subramanium Swamy will attend the accession day celebrations on 23rd of October at Jammu which is organised by Jammu Kashmir Peoples Forum.
Briefing the media Convenor of the forum Ramesh Sabherwal alongwith Lucky Puri said that they have requested Dr.Swamy for this programme and he gave his consent to attend the J&K Accession day programme. He said Peoples forum has decided to celebrate accession week from 23rd to 30th of october this year and Dr.Subramanium Swamy will attend the inaugural function on 23rd of October at Jammu Club.
Prominent leaders from different political parties and intellectuals are invited in the programme said Sabherwal. He said from Omar Abdullah to Prashant Bushan and Medha patkar are campaigning against the nation therefore it is the necessity of time to aware the masses about the realities of Jammu amd Kashmir. Sabherwal said 26th of October is a historical today as on this day Maharaja Of Jammu and Kashmir Hari Singh ji signed the instrument of accession and merged Jammu and Kashmir in India. He appealed the nationalist people of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate accession day as a festival and demanded the government holiday on 26th of October every year. Maintaining that the accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India is full and final. It is inseparable and integral part of the country like Junagarh andHyderabad,"and said accession day is our National day and should be celebrated as national day.
He made an fervent appeal to the people to the nationalist people of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh to observe the accession Day every year on October 26 by hoisting national flags, illuminating entire area, bursting crackers and distributing sweets.
