The Supreme Court Ruling will adversely affect the economy of Malawi because government will have to find money for by- elections which it did not budget for in the 2006/2007 financial year, it has been learned.
A chief accountant in the civil service disclosed that many projects in the country many be affected as money meant for the projects will be diverted to the by elections.
Government is expected to lose more than 60 Members of Parliament once Parliament convenes on June 29 this month.
