Syed Mohsin Hussain Jan passes away.
CHITRAL: Veteran politician and prominent social worker of Sweer village Syed Mohsin Hussain jan passes away in the age of 90 years. He was the last son of former Governor Drosh (Chitral state) Abdul Razzaq Bacha who was close ally to Mehtari Chitral (Ruler of Chitral State in early 1940). Syed Mohsin Jan retired as Subadar from Chitral Scouts and later on he joined Awami National Party (ANP) and was a active worker of ANP. He was father of Syed Mussarat Hussain Jan Sub Divisional Forest Officer Chitral, Syed Abid Jan former President of Pukhtoon Students Federation University of Peshawar, Syed Parwana Jan ANP. He was uncle of Professor Syed Tofiq Hussain Jan, Syed Muzaffar Hussain Jan President ANP Chitral. He was laid to rest at his ancestral grave yard at Sweer village some 55 KM from here. A large number of people belongings to all walk of life attended his funeral prayer.
