Taking the Long Term view with Infrastructure Funds

HSBC Infrastructure has invested in rail projects around </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;">Europe</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;"> and is seeking long term income. Credit Suisse Equity Infrastructure and INVESCO Asia Infrastructure are both off-shore. Whats attractive about them is getting a spread of investments and not being caught out with everything in MetroNet. There are now a lot of PPI companies around the world and some are doing very well, so the problem for investment fund managers is going to be having enough funds to get a good spread of investments and keep the risk down with 5% to 1% of funds under management in each holding. Capita and Serco would be suitable holdings.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
