Talend Platform 5.6 Achieves Certified Integration with SAP® ERP

Interoperability with SAP Solutions Streamlines and Accelerates Data Integration

Maidenhead, UK. – June 3, 2015 – Talend, a global leader in big data integration software, today announced that Talend Platform 5.6 has achieved certified integration with the SAP® ERP application. The solution has been proven to integrate with SAP ERP, which will help reinforce customers’ confidence in the quality and resilience of their Talend integration projects.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center has verified that Talend Platform 5.6 for big data, data integration, master data management (MDM), application integration and cloud integrates with SAP ERP to support a high level of interoperability and technical alignment.

“Given the pervasiveness of SAP applications in the modern enterprise, this was an important milestone to achieve with Talend Platform 5.6 and adds strength to a solution already proven to increase productivity and deliver projects faster,” said Laurent Bride, CTO, Talend. “SAP certification will provide an extra level of confidence for new and existing customers when managing batch data migration from legacy systems to SAP applications or synchronising data in real time between SAP and other applications.”

When applications are created by different companies, they don’t always integrate well together, requiring time-consuming troubleshooting to solve a problem. As a result of the SAP-certified integration, Talend Platform 5.6 delivers customers an even higher-quality solution that improves integration, reduces implementation times and limits end-user frustration.
