“Six Taliban extremists have tried to break Kohat Central Jail, due to timely action of Kohat Police, attacking Taliban extremist were failed in their attempt, Kohat police is still searching no Taliban extremist involved in prison break attempt is arrested yet, during the night of 19-3-2006 six Taliban extremists had attempted to break Kohat prison to release all the prisoners from it, police intelligence sources had a prior information about their plan, due to efforts of Kohat police attacking Taliban extremists were failed to release all the prisoners from Central Jail of Kohat NWFP Pakistan”, a police of official on condition of anonymity has revealed this.
“Taliban extremists are circulating warning letters to both government and private schools in Tull Tehsil of Hangu district, it is mentioned in those warning letters that Islam doesn’t permit western education, because its promote nudity and other unIslamic and immoral practices in society, warning letters contains threats of grave consequences for those schools owners and administrators which are keeping their schools open, recently a meeting of school administrators and high ups of education department was held to analyze the situation and to meet the threats from Taliban extremists with iron hand, warning letters from Taliban extremists are also issued to owners of video and CD shops in Tull. In Parachinar capital of Kurram agency a wedding music function was stopped by Taliban, a musician of Afridi tribe was invited to perform, but Taliban extremists had stopped him from doing so”.
