Bangladesh Army marched towards BDR head quarter to stop the mutinying soldier. Army marched from Newmarket, Dhanmondi, Nilkhet, Dhaka college,Dhanmondi 27 area & they are not allowing civilians or any member from media in those areas. Whole Dhaka city is isolated.
After the BDR surrendered their guns, Bangladesh army march & start fire with heavy weapon. Tanks also march in that area. As a result thing heated up again and BDR then starts heavy gun fire once again. Police & RAB personnel are working on evacuating the civilians within 3 km of the main scene.
At 2.30 pm BDR mutinying soldiers started laying down their arms & they also release 100 civilian & 5 army high rank officer.
Extra protection have been arrange for the Prime Minister Sheak Hasina’s residence
