Tara Allison Hodges, a teacher at Brazos Middle School in Waco, Texas, was arrested for having sex with a 14 year-old male student. She was charged with sexual assault and improper relationship between a teacher and student.
The warrant for Hodges’ arrest includes the following details: "[Hodges] had sexual contact with (the 14-year-old boy) on at least 10 separate occasions, and that during several of these encounters Tara Allison Hodges also smoked marijuana with him." Police believe Hodges and the boy had sex over a course of two months during which Hodges gave the boy money and bought him things.
Tara Allison Hodges was released on $150,000 bail. Both of the charges against her are second degree felonies.
