His name is Tara Gul and he is a suspected militant with a Facebook account that lives in Karachi, Pakistan. I have been following this man for almost a year now in an attempt to gather information on him. He has over 1, 181 friends on Facebook many of whom espouse radical extremists beliefs. In some cases these known associates are very virulent Anti American Anti Western in terms of their belief and sentiments. Certainly one that give you pause to really think. Hey these people really hate us, meaning Americans, in particular – with a purple passion, I wonder how far they will go?
We have exchanged insults from time to time on Facebook but for the most part we just monitor each other activities. He monitors me and I monitor him as well as his friends list. He also has his setting on Facebook for public- meaning he doesn’t give a damn who sees his information
His profile features numerous pictures of children under his charge holding weapons in a Madrasah or religious school located in Karachi.
Most disturbing to me are pictures (mobile uploads) this man posts of American troops (females) in the field in Afghanistan, pictured along side people who may or may not be friendlies.
I have even sent some of these pictures to the Central Intelligence Agency asking for help in identifying the military personnel involved so I can warn them. In typical fashion however the CIA never responds to any of the information I send to them anonymously.
Neither does the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) or NATO for that matter.
Attempts to locate Tara Gul has thus far proven fruitless. I suspect he lives in Karachi.
Karachi is capital of Sindh as well as the largest and most populous cities of Pakistan and its main seaport and financial center of the country. Karachi has a population around 23,500,000. At best its just a guestimate.
This far Gul has been somewhat careful on what he posts, but not careful enough. I have downloaded almost 30 incriminating pictures associated with Gul from his Facebook profile and shared them with intelligence agency around the world, including the Unite States.
His profile information and picture gallery was recently sent to the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) anonymously for inclusion on a suspected terrorism list. Hopefully they will act on this information and begin monitoring it.
On Facebook I have identified hundred of militants in Pakistan and other parts of the world. But there are more popping up everyday.
