Two students of a government college here were dismissed for beating up their c allegedly after he had refused to give them money to buy liquor.The teacher was admitted to the hospital after he was roughed up by two undergraduate students of the Government Sanskrit College on Saturday, police said on Tuesday.Sources said that two students approached the lecturer for money to buy liquor. The teacher refused to comply with their demand.
However, the students managed some cash on their own. After having drinks, they returned to campus to settle score with the lecturer. teacher was rushed to a nearby hospital by other students who came to know about the incident later.Concerned over the incident, the college council met on Monday decided to dismiss the students involved in the incident, college authorities said.
A complaint has also been lodged with the police by the college principal.Still the case is not disclosed properly.
