The month which begins with the ‘Fools Day’ (April Fool) has created fear psychosis among the parents in the state of Jammu and Kashmir as till date, 11 children have been reported gone missing across the state. Still 12 days are left to complete this month, and as the children are disappearing, the number ‘may increase’ which can not be ruled out.
No one, neither police nor parents know, where these children have gone. Have they absconded from home or have been kidnapped. no one knows. Whatever might be the reason behind, but the parents across the state who came to know about the missing of these children are in fear psychosis and unable to understand where these children might have gone.
According to reports, daughter and son of one Kalu R/o Dhar Seen Thakran namely Arifa Begum (14 years) and Chiru (3 years) have reportedly missing since 13-04-2009. Another minor boy namely Shri Kant (10 years) S/o Sonu Chowhan R/o Mirzapur Tehsil and district Gunj Bihar presently at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu has reportedly been missing since 13-04-2009 from
Meanwhile, one minor boy namely Irfan Hussain S/o Gulzar Ahmed R/o Lar Tehsil Mahore district Reasi presently residing at Prem Nagar Jammu has reportedly been missing since 06-04-2009. The age of the boy is 12 years.

Reports said that on Sunday last, the three left their home to fetch some sweets from the market, however, did not returned.
They were searched for two days but can’t be traced. They reportedly used to go to the market all alone but on Sunday last they disappeared.
However, police has taken cognizance and efforts are in progress in respective areas to trace the missing children out.
