Telephone exchange restored

 

Karimabad Digital Telephone exchange restored after two months.
 
CHITRAL: Digital Telephone Exchange of Pakistan Telecommunication corporation of Karimabad was restored after two months. The digital telephone exchage of Karimabad has been badly affected and was out of order deu to tremendous flood and continue rain. As a result the entire valley was disconnected and connunicaton system was badly compounded. Duing the flood period people were facing great problems and they were not able to contact their relatives or to inform other people about the flood situation. Former Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan thanked General Manager NTR Khalid Khan for his interest and special support in restoration of telephone exchange of Karimabad as a result people of the entire valley can inform rescue team and other relevant quarter in case of flood or any other disaster.
