“Ten lakh eggs exported to Qatar from Tamil Nadu !!”

Namakkal,Erode and the surrounding areas in Tamil Nadu, have been smarting under economic difficulties and hundreds of women employees have lost their jobs, consequent to the ban on import of Eggs from India,by the Arab countries, especially Qatar, which had a major chunk of imports of eggs,consequent to the outbreak of birdflu.Now, Qatar has lifted the ban on import of Indian eggs.Consequently, Namakkal, Erode and other primary egg exporters are busy and hundreds of women also finding their employment back. Namakkal is buzzing with export activities of eggs.Recently nearly 10 lakh eggs have been exported to Qatar alone.Thanks to the lifting of ban on import of Indian eggs, by the Government of Qatar !!
