'Tennis with the Stars' Returns to Omni Rancho Las Palmas

2nd Annual “Tennis with the Stars” showcase returns to the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa on March 8, 2016.

“Tennis with the Stars“, the annual event put on by Cliff Drysdale Tennis as the BNP Paribas Open gets underway in Indian Wells, Calif. will take place on the afternoon of March 8, 2016, at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage. Here is your chance to take the court with some of the world’s best tennis players in fun and competitive environment. 24 amateur players will have the rare chance to play with Cliff Drysdale Tennis pros and other special guests with round robin winners earning a once in a lifetime opportunity to play with four current tennis stars.

The afternoon begins with the Pro/Am doubles round robin and then it moves into some games run by the Cliff Drysdale tennis professionals. Exhibition matches featuring the ATP and WTA pros and amateurs advancing out of the round robin rounds are the featured matches of the afternoon.

Scheduled to participate this year are four players that have “top-10” on their resume’, but it doesn’t end there. The event includes: Wimbledon finalist and WTA No. 3 Garbine Muguruza, Wimbledon finalist and former WTA No. 6 Eugenie Bouchard, ATP World Tour No. 8 and Japanese star Kei Nishikori, along with ATP No. 9 and French No. 1 Richard Gasquet.

Join all the pros and dignitaries for a meet and greet featuring all the players and staff of Cliff Drysdale Tennis, as it’s more than a chance to sample champagne and eat hors d’oeuvres, you can also talk tennis with the pros.

It’s a tennis event, a community event and a showcase of tennis at the Omn Rancho Las Palmas. Kei Nishikori must have enjoyed the 2015 event, because he’s back for year number two.
