Helix combines proven performance, fault, CEM and analytics capabilities
FAIRFAX, VA, USA – 2 JUNE 2015 – TEOCO, the leading provider of assurance, analytics and optimization solutions to communications service providers (CSPs), has today launched Helix, its comprehensive unified service assurance suite. Helix brings together TEOCO’s market leading performance, fault, service and customer experience management capabilities and delivers further real time analytics and machine learning enhancements.
Helix enables CSPs to accelerate their evolution to a Service Operations Center (SOC) model and focus on delivering end-to-end service quality. By leveraging TEOCO’s domain, big data and process integration expertise, Helix reduces a CSP’s total cost of ownership (TCO) and enables the delivery of better customer experience.
The importance of a unified service assurance suite was highlighted by Analysys Mason in its recent research strategy report entitled ‘Unified Service Assurance: Understanding the Business Drivers, Key Initiatives and Benefits’.
“Helix brings together service assurance with real time analytics and machine learning,” said Shachar Ebel, CTO of TEOCO. “The platform is a leap forward in the ability of service assurance software to offer cross domain solutions that can boost network and service performance, as well as customer quality of experience, while prompting the implementation of predictive automated operations and processes for traditional and virtualized networks (NFV).”
“Helix brings together TEOCO’s longstanding and proven capabilities in optimizing and analyzing complex networks to deliver more powerful insights” said Atul Jain, CEO of TEOCO. “CSPs need solutions that allow them to automate and simplify their operations without raising expenditure. From the management of virtualized networks to the rapid launch of new services and the demands of the emerging M2M market, a strong unified service assurance suite is of paramount importance to provide insight into every domain, technology and vendor.”
To meet the varying needs of operators, Helix is available via a traditional perpetual software license or via a SaaS model as Helix Cloud. Helix Cloud can be fully hosted by TEOCO or deployed on a private cloud which is especially suitable for operators with multiple properties or affiliates, regional or worldwide, looking for a single solution to manage them all.
