Thai Police Plan To Issue Arrest Warrant For Suspected Pedophile

Recently, the thirty two-year old former schoolteacher Christopher Paul Neil entered Thailand last week. Authorities such as Interpol had tracked Neil’s whereabouts to the country of Thailand in a worldwide manhunt. Soon after hearing testimonies from three Thai youths recently, the Thailand police plans to issue their own arrest warrant on Christopher Paul Neil.

Today, the warrant for Neil’s arrest will be issued. Currently, they’re looking for a fourth youth that is believed to have had sex with Christopher Paul Neil. The former schoolteacher from Canada is accused of sexually abusing several boys from Cambodia and Vietnam no older than six years.

Major General Wimon Pao-In of the Thai Police said the testimony came from two Thai teenagers on Wednesday. Currently as a precaution, border guards are placed in Thailand and its neighboring countries in case Christopher Paul Neil tries to leave the country. Immigration counter captured Paul on tape leaving from South Korea to Thailand.

The authorities are very certain that Paul is still in Thailand. They also add that his pictures are published everywhere regardless whether or not Paul successfully leaves the country.

This international manhunt became in Germany several years ago when police discovered a website. The website had over two-hundred online pictures of a man sexually abusing children. To conceal the identity, the face was obscured. But technology evolved enabling authorities to unscramble the pictures.

Not surprisingly, Paul was considered to be a good teacher. But it’s not the case in Thailand as Paul was issued verbal and written warnings about his performance as a teacher. It is also said that Paul even worked as a chaplain.

Should Neil be captured and arrested, he will stand trial in Canada due to the country’s sex tourism laws. If Neil was tried in one of the courts of Southeast Asia let alone Thailand, he would face a harsh punishment. A death penalty verdict would be a strong possibility if he was tried in a Thai court.

In the case of going to prison in Thailand, Neil would possibly be miserable. On a side note, Muay Thai kickboxing is the national sport of Thailand. Muay Thai is also one of the most violent and brutal fighting styles in the world.

There are many people in Thailand versed in Muay Thai which includes the prison population. Theoretically should Christopher Neil Paul get tried and sent to a Thai prison, he would be smacked left and right.
