Designer Thakoon Panichgul made a personal appearance at Macy’s Herald Square during a cocktail event on Oct. 5 to launch his capsule collection for Nine West Footwear. The line is available only this month at select Macy’s and Nine West stores. "To see your product and name in a really mass, public context like that is a bit surreal," said Panichgul. Moving forward, Panichgul said he would consider doing his own footwear collection. "I find that I really love designing Louboutin shoes and bags, too, but it has to be the right time with the right resources."
