This is the conclusion of The Advent of Jesus.
The Lord God Jesus reveals to Isaiah the lineage through which the messiah will come, and reveals how he will be recognized by those who see him. Our Lord does so through the following passages.
ISAIAH: 11: 1-5
"And there shall comforth a rod, out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots: And the Spirit of the Lord, shall rest upon him the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of the eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins and faithfulness the girdle of his reins."
Isaiah tells us in these passages that Jesus will come to us through the lineage of Jesse, through the line David. Isaiah also tells us that although the people of Israel were expecting some kingly man of power and might to come as their Messiah, that just the opposite would be true. The true messiah instead would come as a lowly man of God teaching dealing with the harshness of the world of the Israelites the hebrews with knowledge and wisdom, understanding and wise counsel rather than meeting violence with violence or smiting their oppressors through some godly act of God-like power.
Isaiah’s prophecy comes to light some 400 years later, as we read in the Gospels of some baby conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin of Nazareth, a baby, not some powerful king leading an army to deal with the powers of the Roman empire. We further see that through his priestly ministry, Jesus teaches the people teaching about love, love of God and love of their fellow man, rather than trying to encite the peope to rebel and fight.
Jesus revelation to Isaiah is completed as Jesus reveals to Isaiah that it will not be through his first appearance to the people of Israel that Jesus will establish his ultimate kingdom and destroy all evil, but that this will happen through Jesus second coming, at a time to come, a time of Holy God the Father’s choosing.
ISAIAH: 11: 10-12
"And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the (second time?) to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar and from Hamath, and from islands of the seas. And he shall set an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth."
As Christians we cry "Come Lord Jesus" come swiftly without hesitation, for your people who await you to return in glory to claim back that which rightfully is yours, your people who have suffered so long awaiting your return. Tarry not, "Come Lord Jesus" with all of your heavenly powers and return the earth back to the peacefulness and love that it knew, before sin.
