Pakistan: The farmers of Pakistan are facing severe problems due to shortage of fertilizer across the country.
The farmers protested over the shortage of the fertilizer in the different cities of Pakistan today.
An artificial crisis of the fertilizer could be seen across the country and even with the fertilizer dealers the black marketing is in progress.
Moreover, some 200 fertilizer-laden trucks leave from Pakistan to Afghanistan through the Chaman border of Baluchistan province daily, according to sources.
The relevant authority, Pakistan customs clear the trucks from the dry port and then these trucks go across the border, a vital example of corruption in the government departments of Pakistan.
A mafia could be behind the smuggling of the fertilizer and other goods that are produced in Pakistan, because the fertilizer is expensive in Afghanistan and the traffickers are earning the black money through the fertilizer trafficking.
A similar crisis erupted in Pakistan a couple of months back when there was a severe shortage of flour across the country and the prices of flour on the other side of the border in Afghanistan were very high so the traffickers started smuggling the flour through different holes into Afghanistan.
