Welcome to the Daily Weather Report. The big weather stories for Feb 28 is the huge snowstorm that is about to spread across the Dakota’s and into Minnesota. There will be some places dealing with Blizzard like condtions for 12 hrs or more. Snowfall amounts may also approach 2ft in some of these places.
There is also the possibility of Severe weather setting up along the southern portion of this front. The most likely places to see the Severe weather are going to be through the Southern Plains and then into the lower Mississippi River valley. There is probably going to be some tornadic storms in these area’s also.
The big snowstorm will make its way across into the Northeast by late week and early part of the weekend bringing heavy snow to places like Upstate New York, Boston and into Maine.
