For 2020 , one in five graduates (or higher level FP) must have studied or done internships abroad, as agreed by the Ministers of Education of the European Union (EU).

To analyze the progress of countries and encourage the achievement of the objectives , the EU statistical office ( Eurostat ) shall draw up indicators.
