Juan Manuel Marquez will be facing Rocky Juarez this coming November 3, 2007. The fight is a must win for Marquez because he is after the million dollar marketability of flamboyant Filipino boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. The WBC Super-featherweight champion Marquez is “up on his ears” and the focus is on his opponent comes fight night. His concentrations should be in hundred percent to dispose the challenger in early rounds to avoid any momentary collapse. A defeat to Rocky Juarez could certainly make Marquez outright patsy and forfeit any future fights against worthy opponents in the caliber of Pacquiao. But if Marquez deliver the best punch and stave off the challenge of Juarez, he will become the last Mexican in his weight to face Pacquiao. Their much awaited fight would generate excitement and of course millions of dollars to both fighters. So, let’s see if Marquez fulfill his dreams of fighting and beating Pacquiao in the near future. In the meantime, “the last of the Mexicans” would be just a hyperbole waiting to outlive the invincibility of “The Pacman.”
