The Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Asif was released as innocent

The Pakistan fast bowler, Mohammed Asif, 25 years old, who was part of the Delhi Devils Team in the recently held IPL Twenty Twenty cricket series and was on his way to Pakistan,has been held back at the Dubai International Airport on suspicion of possessing  contraband drugs and was detained yesterday.

However, the authorities concerned has released him a few hours ago, stating that he was wrongly implicated under suspicion without any prima facie evidence against him and Mohammed Asif was declared innocent. 

It was unfortunate that in the wake of his detention at the Dubai Airport on suspicion, the Pakistan Cricket Board omitted him from team selection that goes to play in the tri-series at Bangladesh.

Now, in the wake of the new development that Mohammed Asif having been declared as innocent, it is not known, whether it is possible to include him in the Pakistan team that goes to Bangladesh.Perhaps, there is a glimmer of hope for his inclusion in the team.
