The Person Behind Noneillah’s Design
Naomi Johnson, hip hop artist Sean Cos Mason/Sean M’s mother is the creative designer behind the Noneillah Brands. She is an Artist, Poet, Author, Self Publisher of Soulality, Activist, Blogger, Entrepreneur, Teacher, Educator, Noneillah’s Digital Print Designer and Clothing Designer, handmade jewelry Designer based in New Jersey.
Johnson have been into art and clothing design since twelve years old. It has been a year now that she launched some of the Noneillah Collection. After, launching the collection Naomi wanted a creative slogan that will best describe her designs along with her son’s tag line Noneillah. Therefore, she came up with the slogan, “No One
Designs Are Better Than Mine!” I told Naomi I love her creative energy she has. Her respond to me was, “thank you, being a creative person is something I was born with”. Naomi passion an artistic gift of the fashion world was always her interest. She used to do hair shows, small photo shoot print modeling and local town modeling. Fashion design is something she always wanted to do; it is her passion she told me.
The Noneillah Collection had many shade of colors and styles that you can wear anywhere. The colors various from mixed gradients of pink, black yellow, blue, purple, blue, white and earth tone colors , which is her and Sean Cos Mason/ Sean M favorite colors.
The Noneillah Collection is named after her son’s signature tag line when he sung or raped. The Noneillah Collection is by her son the hip hop artist/singer Sean Cos Mason/Sean M aka Deshon Johnson in his memory. She said, “She is keeping her son’s legacy alive through fashion, since he has already created his legacy path through his music”. Naomi shared with me what her son said to her, “since you have your talent back up we can work together as a mother and son team seeing that we are both talented”. Yes, the mother and son duo are a carbon copy of one-another with such creative gifts. Naomi told me, “It hurts everyday to continue on the business without her son”. Sean Cos Mason was not just a creative music artist, he knew how to do digital design, free handed artwork, creative with putting word together and more like his mother.
When Ms. Johnson was designing the clothing she wanted to make sure everyone of all ages can wear them comfortably. Some of her colors in the clothing are eye catching, such as; one of her bikini’s collection with the purple, golden yellow, black and blue is to Raise Awareness about What Happen to Her Only Child and Others Victims Who Were Killed by A Reckless Bus Drivers of Coach USA, NJ Transit, MTA plus other Reckless Bus Drivers Operating Public Transportation Around the world.
Naomi started The Deshon Johnson College Scholarship Foundation in her son’s honor. She raises money every year on March 5th at the Brownstone in Paterson NJ for the three schools who started the Deshon Johnson Commemorative Scholarship where he attended, which are Montclair High School, Kean University and Essex County College.
Naomi joins various social networking sites so she can connect with others who share the same passion, and build lasting relationships through networking with amazingly talented people.
Ms Johnson told me she is constantly searching for new models to feature in her son’s photo shoot projects for the Noneillah Brand. She said, “Her projects require her to collaborate with photographers, models, hair/makeup artists, publications and videographers”.
She is always looking for other designers to collaborate with her on various upcoming projects too. Like the upcoming March 5th 2015 College Scholarship Fundraising Event fashion show project; in the memory of her son Deshon Johnson aka Sean Cos Mason music artist. This is an event that takes place every year on March 5th. At the end of our interview I asked Naomi what are her wishes and dreams for her son’s injustice case with NJ Transit as well as his Noneillah Brand. Naomi, reply with tears stricken by grief; that her wishes/dream for a Deshon Johnson law to be pass, the bus drivers/bus companies be held accountable for her son’s and other victims lives who were stolen by a reckless bus drivers. In addition to, a street name or permitted memorial in her son’s honor where the incident occur.
Her dreams for the Noneillah Collect is to have Sean Cos Mason Brand in every store around the world to raise enough money to keep the Deshon Johnson College Scholarship going to assist low income students financially with their college dreams, build a recording studio in her son’s name to teach high school students entrepreneur skills in the music industry . Last but not least is to keep her son’s name alive through the foundation, recording studio, his music, Noneillah.com Entertainment website and the Noneillah/Noneillahstore Collection in his honor.
