German, Ukraine and Russian leaders discuss the deteriorating situation in south eastern Ukraine – all working for peace. Notably absent the United States?
On February 8, 2015 it was reported that the leaders of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine agreed that joint work to prepare the comprehensive measures aimed at settling the crisis in southeastern Ukraine will continue at the “expert level in Berlin on February 9, 2015.”
This will be followed by a meeting of the Contact Group. The aim is to prepare the pre conditions necessary to discuss issues planned around the upcoming peace summit in the Normandy format in Minsk on February 11. 2015″
