The Central Leader of Awami National Party (ANP) Afzal Khan Lala has
thanked all the members of the Provincial Assembly for adopting
unanimous resolution regarding his stand and courage during the
situation in Swat.
      In a statement issued in Peshawar today, Afzal Khan Lala expressed
gratitude to all the parliamentary leaders of the political parties
especially the Senior Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour for
approving the said resolution. He hoped that all the political parties
would go ahead with effective implementation of law and order
situation in Swat. He further said that no nation could success
without the support of their people. He said that masses should
support the government steps pertaining to law and order situation in
the province.
      It may be mentioned here that MPA Saqibullah Chamkani in recognition
of the bravery demonstrated by Afzal Khan Lala in Swat recommended him
for Hilal-e-Shujaat, which was unanimously passed by provincial
assembly on Friday.
