Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force Commander Major General Qassem Soleimani stated in no uncertain terms that the terrorist networks in the region, particularly ISIS are experiencing their last death throes.
Soleimani, of course is a very interesting character – perhaps the single most powerful operative in the Middle East today. Gen. Soleimani is recognized as the top level military strategist and tactician in Iran. He is rumored to command one of the largest special forces unit in the world.
He is a major player in the region and the world!
“Given the heavy failures that the ISIS and other terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria have sustained, we are sure that these groups are nearing the end of their (miserable) lives,” Soleimani said, to a crowd on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in the Southern province of Kerman on Wednesday. One of the most important battles of the revolution!
Solomon said: “Persuading and organizing the Takfiri streams to disgrace the tenets of Islam and creating sedition and civil war among Muslim people is the last weapon used by the arrogant powers.” By arrogant powers he was referring to the United States…
Last October General Soleimani warned that the “US moves in the region and the terrorist attacks by ISIS would both ultimately end in failure.”
“I believe that both the US moves and the terrorist acts of ISIS are doomed to failure because they are not in quest for truth,” General Soleimani told a group of reporters an news men in Tehran.
“Their solution will not lead to victory; we have all witnessed in Syria that the measures they adopted did not produce any fruit (for them),” he added.
General Soleimani underscored the victories gained by Islam and the Islamic Republic of Iran had all been the result of their “real quest for truth.”
Note: Qasem Soleimani ( born 11 March 1957) is a major general in the Iranian Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution and the commander of the Quds Force—a special forces division of the Corps primarily responsible for extraterritorial operations since 1998.
His nickname is the “Shadow Commander.”
His story is extremely interesting, Soleimani has been recognized a guiding leader in strengthening and directing the terrorist organization Hezbollah, and shaping the post-war political landscape in Iraq.
Soleimani is credited as the mastermind of the successful strategy that helped Bashar al-Assad turn the tide against opposition forces in the Syrian Civil War—recapturing strategic positions, towns, and cities from rebel factions.
