The Truth about Cause and Effect

An experiential understanding about cause and effect that may leave you seeing a completely different world.

What is the cause?

In the past, I would have stated this question as what is the cause of a specific situation or event that I was experiencing, but in the learning and unlearning process that I have undergone in my life experience, Isee that there is not an identifiable first cause for anything in this world of form and furthermore, there is no world of form for which there is a cause.

This is not to negate in any way the experience that each individual goes through on a daily basis, but simply to bring to awareness the unreality of that which exists within time’s parameters.

This awareness is brought to me through a night of lucid dreaming, in which I am taken up to a mountain side with Spirit, which looks, in my mind’s eye, like the outline of a form, but is still formless. We are on the mountainside looking down on a highway with very little traffic and I see a red truck, pull onto the highway from a ramp and in its reckless maneuver, a banana leaf falls off of its carrying bed onto the highway.

From the opposing direction, another truck comes bolstering its way down the slightly elevated roadway, only to slip on the leaf, go off course and run off the road to hit three workers on the side of the road. I jump with surprise, and am about to shout to try to stop it, when spirit communicates to me, “be still”, and on listening, I relax and see that the workers are lying on the ground seemingly lifeless. I continue to look a bit longer and to my amazement, I see that the three workers then get right up and continue working as if nothing has happened and the truck continues on its way.

In this moment it is communicated to me that nothing has really happened and that that which I witness in the world of form is not of any consequence, it is alright and everything is alright at all times, furthermore the only thing that would allow it to be real, would be my attention and fixation on it as reality. Hence the cause is also inconsequential as in the grand scheme of things, there is no effect. A cause cannot be a cause without an effect, so to go a step further, without an effect, there is no cause, hence our Creator is a Creator by our existence because its Creations define it as a Creator and its existence defines us as creations. If we deny our own existence we are foolish since we exist and by our very existence, a cause of our existence must also be, therefore a Creator is necessary for our existence and we are also necessary for it to be a Creator, for a cause cannot exist without an effect to show that it exists.

This is not to say that the thing itself would not exist without us, but it would not be known, and acknowledged as being a Creator without the existence of points of projection that could observe analyze and discover its existence, so in a sense as the scientists have said, we are the way the stars get to look back at themselves or in a more expanded view, we are the Universe’s individualized point of self observation and introspection and originate from the Universe’s question, What am I? And as a question is asked the answer is generated.
