Islamabad, Pakistan: The UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon and Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani were addressing a joint press briefing here at the Prime Minister House Islamabad.
The Pakistani PM welcomed the UN Secretary General in Pakistan and said that Pakistan is honored with his presence.
The UN Secretary General condemned the terrorist attack in Quetta that claimed the life of a Pakistani national and the abduction of an American National, an official of UNHCR, Mr. John Saloki.
He assured the Pakistani government of his full assistance and cooperation likewise in the fields of education, health and the war against terror.
The Pakistani PM expressed his concerns over the drone attacks in tribal areas and termed them devastative and they may harm the peace efforts in the region as well as the ongoing war on terror.
He also assured Pakistan’s full cooperation to the world community and said that Pakistan would not let its soil to be used for any terrorist activity in the world.
Apparently, Kashmir is one of the core issues of the South Asia and peace is in favor of the both countries Pakistan and India and all the conflicts should be resolved through meaningful dialogues.
